In the mean time

We are really excited for Thursday because it's "Match Day". This is the day we find out where we will be going for Residency. We think it's kinda similar to the mission call anticipation thing- we open up an envelope infront of a lot of people that tells us where we will be living for the next 3 yrs. We'll let you all know where we are going, but in the mean time.... here's some pictures of the kids.

Valentines Day

Valentine's day was officially a success at our house this year. Ethan and Hayley were up late on a sugar rush, and we made it through the holiday without Mariah eating any of those chalky candy hearts.

A little light reading

Ethan has become quite a good little reader. The thing is, he just doesn't care much for the beginning readers. Besides sounding out everything we drive by, he insists on trying to digest somewhat more substantial literature. Here he is working on a 700 page religious text.

Our little Picasso...

Ethan drew this picture of himself holding hands with his mom and dad. He is getting really good at sounding out words and loves making little signs to post around the house. His latest sign was as follows:

Base Ball Caps and Random Acts

I found Hayley's old pink baseball cap and tried it on Mariah.

I think she likes it.

So, Ethan sometimes does these really random acts. The other day he was finished eating and he hopped down from the table, grabbed his teddy bear from his bed and placed it in his spot. All while I was putting stuff away in the fridge. So when I turned around I saw this and it made me laugh- but also made me wonder goes on in that little mind of his.

This is another one of Ethan's random acts. Hayley gave him a "police man" set from the dollar store for Christmas and, well, he's found very creative ways to use the handcuffs. Again, I wonder where he gets these ideas.
