Baby Juliette!

After a long wait for a hospital room and the help of some baby juice, Webb kid #4 was born Thursday morning at 12:50 AM.

Both she and Danielle are doing great, and we're looking forward to bringing her home tomorrow.

We are planning naming her Juliette Danielle Webb. The tale of the tape was: 6 lbs 14 oz, 20 inches long, with a full head of black hair.

Ethan, Hayley and Mariah have been waiting for her to arrive with so much anticipation that they could hardly restrain themselves at the chance to hold her.

They got to visit the hospital twice today, and are fascinated with her miniature features.

More hair chronicles.....

Since we're such big Calvin and Hobbes fans at our house, we decided to do a tribute to Susie Derkins and get Hayley's hair cut just like hers! ;)
Here's our little Susie:

She's not the only Susie look-alike these days..... I'm sporting a little chopped bob as well. ;)

Two Little Piggies...

Brandon was helping the kids wash up for dinner and I thought they were taking longer than normal. Turns out, he and Mariah were playing "Beauty Shop". Here she is almost 2.5 yrs old with her first pigtails. Cute! ;)

Back shot: (put your hands up and spread 'em).
We went to the pool twice last week, and she's already a bronzed beauty! She's ready to be a big sister now, with her big girl hairdo.

Short and Sweet

SHORT:
Here's a short summary of what we've been up to lately. Potty training Mariah before the baby comes (7 more weeks)!
Brandon fractured his knee cap and has his leg in a full length brace so he can't bend it and it has earned him the nick-name of Dr. Gimp at work. Poor guy, hopefully only 3 more weeks of wearing the brace, then physical therapy (best case scenerio).
Also, Brandon has been offered the position of Chief Resident, so that means we'll be here an extra year (2.5 yrs. to go) and we're happy about that and are excited to be able to stay a little longer because we are liking it here.

SWEET:
Hayley don't usually nap, but the other day she offered to nap to coax Mariah into it (such a nice sister). Usually Mariah sleeps on the trundle next to Hayley's bed, but when it was quiet I went in to check on the girls and they were asleep together on Hayley's bed snuggled under the blanket. So sweet!

I was dreaming of a GREEN Christmas!

Just in time for Christmas, Brandon finished laying the sod in our front yard. Yipee, no white christmas here.... and I couldn't be more happy about it. The night the sod got delivered we were at a Christmas party and Brandon hurt his knee (it was some party :).... but, he is a trooper and limped around the yard anyways to get it done. Luckily, some guys from Church were driving by and saw his sad state and came out to help.

The girls were so excited to look out the window and see grass. They ran out in their pjs to go and celebrate. What a great GREEN site to behold! ;)

Child Labor

Picked up a couple of temp laborers this weekend to help with the landscaping....

but the allure of a 10-ton pile of gravel was just too much in the end.
Actually, the best part of the day was when Ethan walked up to one of the real landscapers next door and said, with an authentic Dora the Explorer accent, Ola, como esta?

Muy bien, my little friend. Muy bien.

Fairies, Jedi and 7lbs of candy

Pumpkin heads. This is the first year we let the kids carve and it went better than expected.
Halloween has come and gone. We had two Tinkerbell fairies and an Star Wars Clone trooper this year. They filled their buckets to the brim after just two streets in our kid-dense neighborhood. Ethan says he is going to save his until Christmas. We'll see about that.
