Ethan has become quite a good little reader. The thing is, he just doesn't care much for the beginning readers. Besides sounding out everything we drive by, he insists on trying to digest somewhat more substantial literature. Here he is working on a 700 page religious text.

What a little genius! You must be so proud. :) I haven't even read that book yet. But it's on my to-do list. Let me know how he likes it.
He's so smart, he might even understand Jesus the Christ. It is a really good book - although a little hard to read. Still, I have a hard time telling kids they can't read something.
Well when he gets through that you ought to let him at the "Lord of the Rings" books, still my favorite set of books.
